The Stone Roses.

Alongside the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols, the Stone Roses are one of the UK’s most important bands. For their recent world tour, the band wanted to develop their aesthetic, including their legendary lemon icon, without dulling their distinctive visual swagger.

The Lemon.

From the outset we knew that the iconic lemon slice was to be the central theme. We developed lemon slice ‘2.0’ (above) and also a custom lemon camo that could be deployed across several executions - including merchandise (see our mate Dave below.)

Manchester.

Manchester, the spiritual and literal home of the band, was set to be a glorious homecoming. The gigs were at the Etihad Stadium and lemon, in this instance, was used to represent unity between the red and blue sides of the city.

Global.

Our work for the Stone Roses has been deployed around the world. From Manchester to Times Square, from Sydney Opera House to the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, it’s been rewarding to contribute to the identity of such an iconic group.
